Welcome to the Union School online learning space. This space was designed to enable members of the Union School community - including parents, teachers, and students - to access course resources, participate in online activities, and to collaborate within our community and beyond.
Through using this online learning space, Union School is participating in the World Virtual School Project. This space is powered by the popular and powerful Moodle open-source Learning Management System, which facilitates the following platforms for our school:
- a "blended learning" platform - allowing for the combination of internet-based resources and activities to be integrated into the daily practices of teaching and learning
- a collaborative platform - allowing us to work on projects within classrooms, between classrooms, and even between schools anywhere in the world
- an emergency platform - allowing us to sustain our academic program even if access to the campus is not possible
